• The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks.
• The candidate must have a valid CAT score.
• The candidate must meet the age limit criteria.

How to Apply Online

1. Register on the IIM CAT website by entering name, date of birth, mobile number, email ID, etc.
2. Generate an OTP to complete the registration process.
3. Login again using the login details sent to the phone number and email ID.
4. Add the required details such as father’s and mother’s name, date of birth, nationality, gender, category, etc.
5. Upload a photograph and signature in the prescribed format and size.
6. Add the academic details of Class 10, 12, and graduation.
7. Next, add the work experience if applicable.
8. Select the preferred programme and city.
9. Choose up to 5 test centres for the exam.
10. Select an interview city for the Common Admission Process.
11. Finally, pay the CAT application fee 2026 online.

Exam Pattern & Syllabus

The CAT exam pattern consists of three sections: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Quantitative Ability (QA).
