- The scheme is applicable to students enrolled in regular courses in Government and Government-aided institutions.
- Self-financing courses, unaided institutions, PPP-mode institutions, and professional and technical programmes are not included in this scheme.
- Students do not need to apply separately for the scheme, as it will be automatically applicable to eligible students.
