UPSC NDA 2026 Exam

The UPSC NDA & NA (I) 2026 notification is out for 394 vacancies. Eligible candidates who are appearing or have passed Class 12 can apply online. The final application deadline is December 30, 2025, and the written exam will take place on April 12, 2026.

Important Dates

The recruitment is done through the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Naval Academy route under the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme. A total of 370 male and 24 female candidates are to be recruited.

Eligibility & Vacancy Details

Candidates born between 2007 and 2010 are eligible and should be unmarried. Candidates should be passed or appear in Class 12. Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics is compulsory for Navy, Air Force, and Naval Academy. Students appearing in Class 12 may also apply if they submit proof of being passed out on time.

The age for the candidates is between 16.5 and 19.5 years as on July 1, 2027. The fee for the application is Rs. 100 for male candidates (general/OCB), while female candidates and SC/ST candidates are exempt from paying the fee.

Exam Pattern

The selection process consists of 3 parts: Written Test, SSB interview, and Medical Test. There are objective questions in the written test, and the test has negative marking for incorrect answers.
