Bhubaneswar-based KIIT and KISS felicitated their athletes with Rs 2.5 crore in cash awards for their stellar performances at the 20th Asian Games and 23rd Commonwealth Games. Pranav Soorma clinched the gold medal in the men's discus throw combined F51/52/53 event with an Asian record at the Asian Para Games in Nagoya, leading a 1-2 finish for India. Compatriot Ram Ratan Singh secured the silver medal in the same event.
