Educational Qualification
- Minimum: Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized university
- No minimum percentage requirement (unlike RBI Grade B which requires 60%)
- Proficiency in the official language of the state/UT where applying is mandatory

RBI Office-Wise State Language Requirement
- Each RBI office has specific local language requirements based on the state where it is located
- Examples: Mumbai (Marathi), Chennai (Tamil), Kolkata (Bengali), Delhi (Hindi), Bengaluru (Kannada), Hyderabad (Telugu/Urdu)
- Candidates must demonstrate proficiency (spoken and written) in the applicable local language, or clear the LPT
Other Requirements
- Proficiency in English is also expected as RBI conducts its operations predominantly in English
- Knowledge of computers (tested in Mains)
