Educational Qualification
- Minimum: Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized university/institution
- Candidates in the final year of graduation can apply provisionally
- No minimum percentage requirement

Nationality
Must be a citizen of India. Subjects of Nepal/Bhutan and persons of Indian origin from specified countries with intent to settle in India are also eligible.
Other Requirements
- Proficiency in the official language of the state/UT for which vacancy applied
- Good character and no criminal record
- Must be medically fit as per SBI medical standards
