GS Paper-I (100 Qs, 200 Marks) [Decides Prelims Cut-Off]
Current events of national and international importance, History of India and Indian National Movement, Indian and World Geography, Indian Polity and Governance (Constitution, Political System, Panchayati Raj, Public Policy, Rights Issues), Economic and Social Development (Sustainable Development, Poverty, Inclusion, Demographics, Social Sector Initiatives), General issues on Environmental Ecology, Bio-diversity and Climate Change, General Science.
CSAT Paper-II (80 Qs, 200 Marks) [Qualifying 33%]
Comprehension, Interpersonal skills including communication skills, Logical reasoning and analytical ability, Decision making and problem solving, General mental ability, Basic numeracy (numbers and their relations, orders of magnitude, etc. - Class X level), Data interpretation (charts, graphs, tables, data sufficiency etc. - Class X level).
Mains Written Exam (9 Papers, 1750 Marks)
- Paper A & B (Qualifying): Indian Language (300) & English (300) - Minimum 25% required.
- Paper I: Essay (250 Marks)
- Paper II (GS-1): Indian Heritage & Culture, History & Geography of the World & Society (250 Marks)
- Paper III (GS-2): Governance, Constitution, Polity, Social Justice & International Relations (250 Marks)
