The IBPS RRB OA 2026 selection is a two-stage online CBT process. Prelims is a screening test; Mains determines the final merit. There is no interview for Office Assistant posts.

Marking Scheme
- Correct Answer: +1 mark (Prelims); variable as per section weightage in Mains
- Wrong Answer: −0.25 marks (negative marking in both Prelims and Mains)
- Unattempted: 0 marks
Key Pattern Notes
- Mains has sectional time limits – candidates cannot switch between sections before the allocated time expires
- Final merit is based on Mains score only; Prelims is purely qualifying
- Provisional allotment is done state-wise and RRB-wise based on Mains merit + vacancies
