Step-by-Step Application Process
- Step 1 – Visit RRB Website: Go to your chosen RRB's official portal (e.g., rrbmumbai.gov.in, rrbpatna.gov.in, rrbsecunderabad.gov.in etc.)
- Step 2 – New Registration: Click 'New Registration' → Enter Name, DOB, Email, Mobile → Get OTP → Complete registration → Note Registration Number.
- Step 3 – Fill Application: Login → Fill personal details, qualification details (Class 10 / ITI), community (category), and ex-servicemen status if applicable.
- Step 4 – Upload Documents: Upload photo (JPG, 20–50 KB), signature (JPG, 10–20 KB), and left thumb impression (JPG, 20–50 KB).
- Step 5 – Exam City Preferences: Choose up to 4 exam cities from within the RRB's jurisdiction.
- Step 6 – Fee Payment: General/OBC/EWS: ₹500 (₹400 refunded after CBT). SC/ST/Ex-SM/PwD/Female/Transgender: ₹250 (fully refunded on CBT attempt).
- Step 7 – Submit: Preview and submit → Save confirmation page PDF.
