Nationality
Candidates must be a citizen of India. Citizens of Nepal/Bhutan and persons of Indian origin from specified countries are also eligible subject to government eligibility certificate requirements.
Additional Requirements
- Candidates must be proficient in both Hindi and English – practical bilingual ability is tested in Paper II
- Knowledge of translation tools and government translation conventions is advantageous
