Key Tips for SSC MTS 2026
- Session II has no negative marking: Attempt ALL 50 questions in Session II. Never leave any blank.
- Session I needs accuracy: With -1 mark penalty in Session I, target 80%+ accuracy rather than attempting all 40 questions blindly.
- GK is the differentiator: Many candidates score similarly in Maths and Reasoning. Strong GK and English (Session II) gives the edge for Havildar post selection.
- Solve 5–7 years of PYQs: SSC MTS questions have a recurring pattern. PYQ practice is the most efficient way to cover exam topics.
