Nationality
Candidates must be a citizen of India. Subjects of Nepal and Bhutan, Tibetan refugees (settled before January 1, 1962), and persons of Indian origin from specified countries may also apply under certain conditions as per Government of India rules.
Number of Attempts
There is no restriction on the number of attempts for IES, provided the candidate meets the age criterion each time they apply.
