Step-by-Step Application Process
- Step 1: Visit upsc.gov.in → Click on 'Online Application for Various Examinations of UPSC'.
- Step 2: Locate the IES/ISS Examination 2026 notification and click 'Apply'.
- Step 3: Complete Part I Registration: Enter name, DOB, email, phone, nationality, and category. Submit to get a Registration ID.
- Step 4: Log in with Registration ID and complete Part II: Educational qualifications, exam centre preferences, and post preference (IES or ISS).
- Step 5: Upload photograph (4.5 cm × 3.5 cm, JPEG, 20–300 KB) and signature (3.5 cm × 1.5 cm, JPEG, 10–100 KB).
- Step 6: Pay application fee via SBI Net Banking / Debit Card / Credit Card / UPI. SC/ST/PwD/Female candidates are exempted from the fee.
- Step 7: Preview and final submission. Save/print the confirmation page.
