RRB ALP 2026 applications are submitted at the official website of the chosen RRB. Candidates must apply to only one RRB. The notification is released simultaneously by all 21 RRBs with a window of approximately 30 days.
Step-by-Step Application Process
- Step 1 – Choose RRB: Select the RRB based on your preferred railway zone. Apply only to one RRB per cycle.
- Step 2 – New Registration: Visit rrbXXX.gov.in → New Registration → Enter Name, DOB, Email, Mobile → Get OTP → Save Registration Number.
- Step 3 – Fill Application Form: Login → Fill personal details, ITI trade/Diploma/Degree details, post preference (ALP and/or Technician), and community.
- Step 4 – Post & Trade Selection: Indicate your ITI trade or engineering branch accurately – this determines Part B syllabus and post eligibility at CBT 2.
- Step 5 – Upload Documents: Photo (20–50 KB JPG), Signature (10–20 KB JPG), Left Thumb Impression (20–50 KB JPG).
- Step 6 – Exam City: Choose up to 4 exam city preferences from RRB's jurisdiction.
- Step 7 – Fee Payment: General/OBC/EWS: ₹500 (₹400 refunded post CBT 1). SC/ST/Ex-SM/PwD/Female: ₹250 (fully refunded post CBT 1).
- Step 8 – Submit: Preview → Submit → Save confirmation PDF.
